Kayak-canoe Stobhill P6 May 2014

We spent an enjoyable day with Stobhill Primary School P6 learners on 14th May. The weather was great at Musselburgh Lagoons and the learners showed some good skills on the water. Well done.

If you would like to take it to the next level you can find more info here.

Penicuik HS P7 Transition Camp

Archery at PHS P7 transition

There was a great buzz about the centre at Netherurd near West Linton, where the P7 transition camp was taking place from the 14th to 16th May 2014.  I was delighted to lead 8 archery sessions for the learners from the Penicuik High School cluster primary schools.

Burnbrae P5 Twittering on the Law

IMAG1403We enjoyed working with the Burnbrae P5’s at their residential camp at Innerwick  last week. Burnbrae Primary School.  Staff led a variety of visits in the local area and the Outdoor Learning team supported their visit with some rock scrambling on North Berwick Law and paddlesports on the River Tyne.

We enjoyed keeping up with what was going on at camp using the Burnbrae PS twitter feed at the school website.

A great way to keep staff, pupils and parents informed of what was happening on this brilliant trip.

Well done to all the staff and pupils who made this Outdoor Learning trip a success.

Burnbrae P5 Camp twitter feed is available at the Burnbrae Primary School website or at twitter@p5burnbraecamp
