In support of the adoption of the EVOLVE system for planning, leading, approval and evaluating Midlothian educational visits. the training opportunities shown on table below are available for Midlothian staff ;
The current EV1 approval system for category 3 & 4 visits was phased out Dec 2015 and all Midlothian Educational establishments and schools are now online using the new Midvisits (EVOLVE) system
The system is straightforward to use and can be used without training however these sessions below will help users get started and or answer system questions for those that are already using. Please note that this is not Visit Leader Training or Visit Coordinator Training (click on the links for these)

This session will provide a run-through of the EVOLVE online web based system and how staff, admin users & visit coordinators can us the system to help support planning and evaluating visits and will include;
- Admin – e.g. adding/amending users, adding staff qualifications, risk assessments
- Using EVOLVE for Planning a visit, practice entering a visit
- Features of EVOLVE e.g. dashboard, diaries, resources, reports, staff profiles
- Approval procesess in EVOLVE
- Access levels.e.g staff, visit coordinators, Head of Establishment, LA
Who should attend?: all staff that require further input for successful use of the system, Visit coordinators looking to increase their knowledge of system features and brush up skills.
